If it's a sunny SoCal day and you're ready to take the top down, the team at Porsche of DTLA can help you learn how. Let's go over the process using the Porsche 718 Spyder RS Convertible as an example.

To begin, take the latches out from the back of your cover by pulling the red tab. A small hatch will pop up. Pull the connected cover out and attach the bottom to a silver bar at the top of the rear tarp. Then use the rear hatch lift button. Next take the side curtains out by lifting them up and taking them off the tab. To release the rest of the rear tarp, simply pull it away and fold it, with the option to put it away in the bag in your trunk. Then, on the passenger side of the vehicle, release tension from the top of the roof by pulling the lever underneath, releasing the wire. Now take out the rest of the roof by pulling it out of the pegs in the rear. You can then roll it up towards the front of the vehicle, which is a step that's much easier with two people. Finally, above your sun visors, press red tab down and pull the black lever to release the rest of the roof, sliding it out. You can then place all of this behind your seats, where foam blocks will guide your roof to where it's supposed to sit. Once the sides of the tarp are fully pushed in, simply press your rear hatch down, and push the back levers down onto your red tabs.
